Why? You don't tell me what you find...convincing? What has convinced you? God is above all of this w

yet makes ,'Himself' known in many ways.

Do I need your mockery just bcuz you post this?

When I put up a miracle that could not be explained, no atheists answered! And neither did Christians.

If I talk about the gematria in genesis 1:1, you yawn, not interested at all.

If God wants to make contact, God will do it.

    I'm awed.

Everything, I find, in the world?...gets old? Same old?

Maybe it's great for you? For me, no, boring, sad...not everything, not 100% but a lot?

I've been Christian a long time. Do you know anything that not only is...NEVER boring but gets MORE interesting?

Nothing else comes near...for me, for millions like me.

The only way primitive religion exists today is through the child abuse of forcing it into very, very young children but thanks to better education and growing intellects so many teens are able to discover the truth, throw off the indoctrination and step into the real world!

The first person to produce a single tiny little piece of verifiable evidence for any god will become world famous and mega rich!

Academia states that in the absence of any sort of evidence of the existence of something it must be deemed not to exist until verifiable evidence is found - thus god is held not to exist pending some sort of verifiable evidence.

No. First off, because I don't need to justify my beliefs to you. You should most certainly follow what you believe (or don't believe, as the case may be), as I will follow what I believe. I don't have to prove anything to anyone.

Second, because I am not a Vulcan or robot or anything like that. I accept my Gods, my relationship with them, on a subjective level, much like I accept my relationship with my husband on that level, or my personal preferences on a subjective level, etc. I don't need streams of data, it doesn't bother me that I don't have it.

Finally, if there are any laboratory tests that could prove or disprove Gods, I'm not familiar with them. I don't even know what Gods are, and I'm not a scientist trying to figure it out. I'm just a theist trying to live my life by what I believe to be true. Maybe they're forces, maybe they're just parts of the human brain-- who knows? Who even cares? I accept my personal subjective experiences and am comfortable with unverified personal gnosis... wherever it comes from, I've chosen to embrace it for what it is and what it brings to my life.

It's kind of like myths-- they didn't literally happen, you can't prove they are historic fact. That doesn't mean they don't contain truth and meaning, though. I am more right-brain oriented, I don't tend to look for sharp black and white distinctions. I see many shades of gray, many colors, I am comfortable with different possibilities existing and with just going with the flow.

If having or not having proof bothers you then you need to deal with it, that's your issue not mine.

    .

Which "theist" are you addressing ?

Baha’is, Christians, Messianic Jews, Islam, Jehovah's Witnesses, Judaism, Rastafarian movement, Sikhism, Zoroastrianism, Satanism, Mormonism, Paganism , Shamanism, Shinto, Wicca, Hinduism, Jainism, New Age, plus all the cults and sects of the above are theists.

So Mr. First, Who exactly are you asking ???

And I assume you know the difference between evidence and belief, do you?

(I am an atheist, but here is what i think)

I think christians believe as, they want something higher up to look forward to, something to count on after death, someone to be with you when you need them (despite god doing nothing to peoples actions until they die)

while many might actually think christianity and probably all religions are a silly way of life, they probably wont since most people are raised a certain religion, but some are physically forced to believe in a religion, so i would see after that why they wouldnt change religion

No. Because my personal experience with God is impossible to explain even to other believers. What is important is that it caused me to never be able to deny again and start building a relationship with God and learn his Word. Good luck on your own personal journey if you truly want answers God will show you nobody else can.

I see this question daily, it is a valid question but no one ever gives a reason that is anywhere close to being logical or provable and it usually comes with special pleading and appeals to popularity with a side of attacking atheists for their own lack of evidence.

First of all you don't understand what a belief is. We are born without the need of the gods. Atheism is simply the personal and informed choice to remain without this need.

    Impossible.

No, but I bought an art sculpture today that was unsigned. It was a bargain because the artist doesn't exist.
