    If your bank is close to you, just take the card to the bank and ask them to do a cash advance and deposit the $$$ in your account.

    If not, go to a bank, ask for the cash advance and get a Bank check. Mail it and a deposit slip to your bank.

    As an aside, with cash advances, the interest starts immediately. With purchases, you have up to a month before it kicks in.

    Credit cards usually carry a high interest rate. There is no way of doing this cheaply.
