First of all, I'm sorry that you had to deal with that with your parents.

Second, I'm sorry that people don't believe you.

And finally, people like to believe that things like that are said to get attention. Especially people who have only seen those things on TV or in movies and books. It doesn't matter whether they believe you about it, and even though I know it does hurt, instead of caring what they think, maybe you can find a way to heal. It might take forever, but time heals. I hope you can eventually find some peace within all this pain

Some times it is because the parents have such a comradarie with each other and know how to cover up their ways in front of other adults in general. If you told an unbiased adult, the parents would sometimes go so far as to lie and say that you are a liar. The only way you can get some one to believe you is if you had the evidence ( scars, bruises, etc) and you told a counselor about it. This is very unnatural because the very people who are supposed to shelter you from geting hurt are the very ones hurting you. This proves that in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 that people (parents too) will have "no natural affection," and "betrayers". This link below should give you more information about what you are going through and can give you comfort. And I am sorry this happened to you.

I would have to know you to answer this. It is unnatural for parents to turn on their young which is why there is so much doubt.
