What Can I Do in About a Week to Start Looking Better (DIY beauty treatments On the cheap) ?
Need a confidence boost plus my boyfriend is going to be away for a week then really busy at his job for several days after so I ll seee him very little if not at all. We normally are together a lot. We live together most of the time (I stay with family a lot because of my Dad s health) and we used to work together too so I thought it would be a nice surprise if I worked on me a little.
In the long run I know being healthy= looking healthy and as a non-overweight vegetarian I am trying but sometimes it s fun to get a little boost from some skin treatments or a cleanse.
I have mild adult acne and I m a vegetarian.

Rather than straight lemon, try honey with a little lemon for faces. Lemon juice is too acidic, while it will cut through oil like mad it will also leave your face dry and irritated if you have sensitive skin at all. Honey is soothing, reduces redness, moisturizes skin, and also kills germs. Mix some honey and lemon, or honey and apple juice, for a moisturizing and toning face mask. Powdered oats also reduce redness and sooth skin, adding some clay will help reduce oil and draw out impurities for tight pores.
For a face scrub, try powdered oats and ground almonds, or just scrub with some honey that's gone crystalline, or make a scrub with fine sugar and water or oil.
For a smooth body, mix some sugar and olive oil and scrub yourself in the shower. The sugar should melt, so won't clog drains, the oil will get you soft while the sugar removes dead skin. Use a gentle soap afterward to keep that moisture.
For shiny hair, wash with an egg or egg yolk only for delicate hair, rinse with cool water, and pour a rinse of diluted raw honey or diluted black strap molasses (a few spoonfuls in a liter of water is good) to condition hair and make it feel thick.
For soft hair, use a rinse of lavender tea. For shine, rosemary tea. For chunky hair like you've been at the beach, salt water poured over hair.
For super moisture for your hair, deep condition with a thick, heavy oil like coconut, and leave it in overnight, shampoo in the morning.
Keep up with little things that make a big difference. Pluck stray eyebrow hairs, keep your nails filed even and smooth, floss every day, etc. The small things makes you feel good, and you look good when you feel good even if you're wearing sweatpants.

You will need a lemon or some limes. Slice it in halves and rub the juices in your face. It might hurt and you may feel like it's itchy but that's normal. The acid in the lemon/lime will fight the bacteria in your face and with just 3 days of usage, you will see a big difference. You will feel that your face is becoming softer and more radiant. It works for me!

Add some manuka honey and jojoba oil to your hand, mix together with your finger, and apply for a few minutes. It s incredibly easy and works pretty well.
