    Greetings,

Jehovah's Witness’ do not practice idolatry while mainstream Christianity’s usage of a cross is gross and obvious idolatry.

So, you are mistaken and your question is illogical since it deceptively insinuates that Witness are practicing idolatry. (We could ask you a similar question: “When did you stop beating your wife?)

If you'd invest in a dictionary it would be easy for you to tell what idolatry is. Any reasonable person can see that the JW.org "organizational symbol" is not an idol but simply an means to publicize an informative WEB site. And JW is initials of our name and so is simply a means of identifying our organization.

There is absolutely nothing that makes this symbol improper or an idol.

An idol is something that represents a deity or receives religious worship. Idolatry is giving an object "adoration or devotion."

Witnesses clearly don't use the JW.org logo as a means of worship and I've never seen it given any adoration or devotion!

So your insinuation is a ridiculous aspersion and reveals a perverse bias.

When people raise such ludicrous innuendos as this one in a desperate attempt to criticize the Witnesses it is obvious that they realize they have no legitimate complaint.

You have adopted the standard practice of those who oppose Witnesses which is to avoid doctrinal subjects which can be proven or disproved by the Bible. This is because such critics realize that we do teach the Bible so they can only present twisted and biased opinions about our practices.

When we see how weak, unreasonable, illogical, and downright false such opposing arguments are then we are even more convinced that we have the Truth and are part of the Christ's True "Church" today (Dan.12:3; Mt.13:39-43).

    Yours,

The biggest difference is that they are wearing what they believed Jesus died on. Apparently, the tool the romans used should be involved in their worship. Jesus died on it, so it must be sacred, even though others died by means of it. The cross is used for torturing people.

The necklaces shown here are not really produced by the society. But there are cards and tags with JW.org. Jw.org is not used in worship, but as a means to learning about Jesus. While the cross can only teach one thing about Jesus, JW.org can focus on everything. This is not a form of idolatry, because it is not used in prayer or worship. It should also be noted that jw.org is not the symbol for ?Jehovah's witnesses, like the cross is to a lot of Christians.

JW seem like they're following a marketing scheme more than a religion.

Both break a commandment. That both aren't even slightly interested in.
