Should Lebron just do nothing but shoot threes in practice this offseason?
He has everything else down obviously so why not just work on the weakest part of his game. If he had a 3 point shot he would be unstoppable. He plays so much on the perimeter and he gets a lot of good looks every game but cant cash them. It was so evident in Game 6. I know it sounds stupid but the Cavs actually were on the verge of an incredible comeback there but Lebron kept missing 3 after 3 late in the game. Now im not AT ALL saying the Cavs lost because of Lebron, they wouldnt even have made the playoffs without him. And its not even like Lebrons a bad 3 point shooter, he can make a few, but it is the obvious weak link in his game and hes never been reliable from 3. Plus as he gets older he will have to rely more on outside shooting. I know its kinda late in his career to be adding a new skill but why doesnt he just do nothing else but shoot hundreds of threes everyday this offseason?

He definitely needs to work on his long-range shooting (3's & long 2') especially since he's aging and teams may defend him by trying clog the lane to stop driving opportunities. I'm not sure if he can't get rid of his tendency to make every jumper a fadeaway but I think that's the biggest reason his shot is so inconsistent. Most of the great shooters don't lean backwards while the elevate - I think doing so messes up the trajectory/ball flight. He needs to straighten his body up in my opinion like the best sharpshooters do (Curry, Thompson, Ray Allen, Beal, etc.). Although Jordan and Kobe are known for their fadeaways, the mostly did it while in the post to get separation from a defender that was draped all over them.

His shooting in general was lousy in the finals. Overall he took 33 shots per game, and hit on less than 40% of them. And every time he put up another brick, the Warriors' fast break would take off. Lebron should focus on defense, rebounding and the inside game. He is a liability from outside, and probably the main reason the Cavs lost.
