Depends on your budget. Also depends on other factors such as what is sending the sound: computer, tv, stereo receiver, etc. You can by the best headphones, but if the signal being sent isn't that great, you just wasted your money. Movies need dynamic range, that means high highs, and low lows. Cheap ones may be good for one side of the spectrum, but not the other. If money isn't so much a concern, I would see if you can find reference monitors. Check out this site: http://www.head-fi.org/
