How do I get extra salt out of my body?

Update:

I have high bp and my bp is ok (thanks to diet, meds and exercise), but I want it to be lower. I eat normally 800-1000 mg of salt a day, but I'm hoping to find a way to get all that salt out of me. I've been trying to sweat as much as possible to help.

you need salt to live. now that you have it down to 1000 mg / day, you gone far enough. also, it turns out that not everyone is sodium sensitive. if you are not, and your high bp came from another cause, the reduction of sodium won't haver much benefit.

sodium works in partnership with potassium, i think it's on a 3 to 1 basis, so if you are eating 1000 mg of sodium per day, you should also be getting 3000 mg of potassium. it's available in many foods, including fruits and vegetables.

similarly, calcium and magnesium work together these four minerals are all important to good bp maintenance.
