Can a Medical Assistant be a Certified Nurses Aid/ Patience Care Assistant ( CNA/PCA) without having to go to school?

I went to school to be a Medical Assistant and did that for two years. I now want to be a CNA part time on the side just to earn some extra money. Do I have to go back to school just for the CNA? Medical Assistants and CNA's basically do the same things in Connecticut and I already have the skills. Is there a way I can just take the exam to be certified without going to school for it? Thanks!

Sorry, you have to go back to school for cna because it is a different board that regulates that.

They are not even close to the same

CNAs do bedside nursing, such as bedbaths, I&O measurements, the only thing MAs and CNAs have in common is they both take vital signs
