No, you are NOT the Father and CANNOT be registered on the child's birth certificate as being so. Simply doesn't work that way --anywhere. You say--WE--want to put your name on the certificate???? I don't think so!!!!! You MAY now think that but the idea would have been the mother's originally and she has tried to talk you into it. Wanna know why? Because if you are silly enough to marry this woman with kids when there are millions of single Pinays available to get that child out of the PI needs the consent of the Father. You cant just take the child out of the country. Ever, unless he gives signed permission. This is the biggest hurdle you will face as if you marry her and even go so far as to adopt the child, you STILL have to get the guys permission to take her anywhere and he wont give it until you have forked over a small fortune to him, in cash.

She, having NO IDEA of the legalities put this silly thought into your head to try to get around that. You, well pal are not too bright upstairs yourself if you thought it possible and didn't wonder why she wanted it done anyway. She wants to get her hooks into you.

What a catch ! A white husband and I have kids--do you have ANY idea how big a catch that is for her when she knows there are millions of single girls looking for a white hubby? And SHE KNOWS that if she does get lucky and you get married, that it will be a crap fight with her ex to get that kid out of the PI---AND HEY---THERE IS no divorce IN THE PI SO CAN YOU MARRY AN ALREADY MARRIED WOMAN ANYWAY? no you cant so I suggest you rethink this whole scenario mate. You aint showing me anything here but a desperate Pinay and that you are a little short on having enough sandwiches for this picnic.

I cant wait to see how this plays out. Post back in 6 months and I bet you are in a world of hurt.

You answered your own question. No it is not legal for a man other than the child's father to be listed as the child's father. It is legal to adopt a child in that way you would be listed as the child's father.

However if you were to make some payments and whatnot perhaps it would be possible. But, what would the consequences be if later on it were found out? Also why live a lie?

No. You're not the father and cannot alter the birth certificate. You are free to adopt the child AFTER you get married to her.

If you are not the father, why would you want your name to be used by her daughter? You have to contest this one in the court of law, if you want to put your name for her daughter. I do not think the court will allow such thing to happen.

Sorry it cannot be done. Plus if you say it is your daughter & want to bring her to the US then you will have to take a DNA test to prove she really is.

Get married to the mother & adopt the daughter.

Nope, if your plan was to get her citizenship in your country, almost every country requires a paternity test

I suggest you to rethink even your relation. Why to buy a cow if you can borrow one? And why you to pay a pinoy's previous pleasure? We say here in Mediterranean, other f*** and other pay.

    Not possible
