Christians; now that gay marriage is legal do you think close family members (i.e. brother/sister, first cousins) should be legalized?

There is a compelling interest in prohibiting marriage between siblings, and that is genetic reinforcement of "bad"genes. Family relationships that are more distant, such as between cousins, don't have this problem and first cousins can marry in some places.

First cousin marriage is already legal in quite a US few states, and a fair number of other countries.

Well, Adam and Eve had children. Those children procreated with each other. Their children procreated with their relatives and so on and so on. God was okay with incest, with having sexual relations with your siblings, your parents, your cousins, etc. If God thinks it's okay, then yeah, it should be legal. I mean, the rules of man don't really matter as long as God approves of it.

Isn't that already legal in some countries?
