Okay party planners, I need your advice!?

you didn't say if the table cloth is real or plastic, but in any case, i suggest table runners in a contrasting color, like tangerine or orange or even a pattern with those colors, or maybe purple or red or green. table runners can be made out of contrasting colored plastic table cloths by cutting the table cloth into 12 inch wide strips, or if they are fabric cloths purchase fabric from the fabric store and cut into 12 inch wide strips.

centerpieces can be made out of nearly anything...old books, photos in stand up frames collected from family and friends (frames are cheap at dollar stores), teapot collections, vases, candles, live plants, blocks of wood wrapped to look like presents, balloon bouquets, tree branches, artwork, silver pitchers, etc.

I saw one on tv the other day that looked easy, and was cute, do able in any color. It was paper cutouts, in the shape of 4 petal leaves. You need the paper, the buttons, some wire, and a glue gun. CUT OUT THE FLOWERS< AND GLUE more than one together, like a flower. Pick your colors, contrasting or patterns. Glue a button on the top for the center. Take the wire, make it an appropriate stem length for you flowers, turn it end to end until you have several lengths of wire. Take the top, and twist it, making a platform for the flower. Glue that, and diplay in a vase, a pot, or whatever you want. A painted clay pot would be really cute. This was on "The Chew" show.

Finds some little paper umbrellas, and decorate them. Buy or make some great big paper flowers. Make some napkin rings, use ribbon, an artificial flower, whatever you want.

Table runner or a row of clear candle holders with colors in a contrasting color (candle holders do not have to be the same size, all just clear). The day of the shower go to the supermarket and pick up the flowers they have on sale.

You could do an edible centerpiece like cupcakes, where it's an centerpiece and dessert.

Do not worry about pink table clothes and napkins.

It will be okay, if the table is pink.

If you are having real plates and table linens at the party (as opposed to disposables), then try buying or renting some chargers to go under the plates.

If you're using disposables, you could wrap the utensils in the napkins and place them on or beside the plates.

For centerpieces, pick up some inexpensive vases at the craft store and fill with fresh flowers from a supermarket or farmer's market purchased that morning. You could use a table runner in a contrasting color, or white, to break up the pink.

Or you can play into the theme or the bride's interests with the centerpieces ... bowls of fresh fruit (doubles as snacks!), stacks of hardcover classic novels (party favors?), river rocks and small votive candles, framed photos of the engaged couple, lanterns (IKEA), bowls of pinecones or acorns for a fall shower, fake starfish for a summer shower, etc.
