Underwear is a part of everyday life, sweetie. You won't get "weird looks" because you're shopping for underwear regardless of what kind of underwear it is. If you do, then the people giving the "weird looks" are immature. It's not like you're buying lingerie.

Teenagers can be very self-conscious. The old joke is that a guy goes to the convenience store to buy condoms which he has to ask for because they are behind the counter. He buys a bag of potato chips, some beef jerky and then says casually to the clerk, "Can I have a box of condoms". It is embarrassing. You may run into a snooty sales person at Charlotte Russe. So, it's a bit of a crap shoot. I would suggest you go in an look around and see how it goes. You may decide to leave if things don't go well. When you go in, know what you want. A salesperson may be helpful if you have questions. But kind of see how it goes. Yes, you are allowed to buy panties if you have enough money.

i think you should be fine to buy them yourself, just look like your confident and know what your doing and people won't give you weird looks 😊
