What is the best question to ask someone to find out what kind of a person they are?

I m thinking it terms of: what kind of a friend they could be, how they approach life, how real is their character.

I thought perhaps the question "What is it that you want most out of people?"

Any ideas?

The best way to find out someone's character is to observe how they interact with other people, and how they talk about others. Whether they respect or judge others gives you a good idea how how supportive they'll be with you.

    Here's some sample questions, though:

What would you do with a million dollars?

What type of personality do you have the hardest time with?

What's the biggest lesson you learned in life?

What's the biggest thing you've had to overcome?

What do you think about those you've broken up with?

Do we have responsibility to help less fortunate people in other countries?

Those are just some of them. Someone who volunteers, someone who has a strong work ethic and someone who cares about their family are generally positives.

Think about yourself, also. The more positive you are as a person, the better you do in both attracting positive people and bringing out the best in people you meet.
