an object begins at rest but then travels:

50m north in 40 seconds,

70m west in 60 seconds

30m south in 70 seconds

40m east in 20 seconds.

Overall time = 40+60+70+20 = 190s

final position of object is calculated to be 36 m away from original point since:

70-40 =30

50-30= 20

a^2+b^2 = c^2

30^2+20^2= c^2

Sqroot30^2+20^2 = C

C=36

Displacement = 36

Therefore V = 36/190

Is this the correct calculation? How do I say whether the velocity is positive or negative? if I have anything incorrect please let me know. Thank you.

If an object were to mover from point A to point B which is a distance of 50 metres, in a time of 50 seconds then the speed of that object would be 50 metres per second and the velocity would be 50 m/s^2. However if the object were to go from A to B but then move back to A travelling at 50 metres per second then the speed would be 50m/s but the velocity would be 0 because the object has no displacement from the original point.

cannot apply in a medically advanced society that offers post conception birth control to women and not to men.

I think this is quite irrefutable but if someone can offer me an argument that is not a strawman or a non sequitur, or some attempted cop out of the reasoned arguement, I will be happy to take it into consideration.

If it is consensual, why should it matter if i never see her again, or tell her that i was just using her the morning after?

I mean the facts are that she signed a multi million dollar contract and only after she found out she couldn't get out of it. filed a rape allegation for something that allegedly happened a decade ago.

Now I'm not saying that she is not being honest, but I'm not saying that women are incapable of lying about rape either.either. Im saying that a fair trial must be taken so that we do not launch a witch hunt against a potentially innocent man.

So she has been working with her apparent rapist for a decade and only now that things are not going her way and she cannot get out of a multi million dollar contract is she filing charges against him and this is being portrayed and some great injustice against women?

Why does everyone take her side and ignore a just discourse for no other reason than she turns on the waterworks?
