Why are people standing with kesha?
I mean the facts are that she signed a multi million dollar contract and only after she found out she couldn't get out of it. filed a rape allegation for something that allegedly happened a decade ago.
Now I'm not saying that she is not being honest, but I'm not saying that women are incapable of lying about rape either.either. Im saying that a fair trial must be taken so that we do not launch a witch hunt against a potentially innocent man.
So she has been working with her apparent rapist for a decade and only now that things are not going her way and she cannot get out of a multi million dollar contract is she filing charges against him and this is being portrayed and some great injustice against women?
Why does everyone take her side and ignore a just discourse for no other reason than she turns on the waterworks?

Many of those standing with Kesha are also women who have worked with him. Maybe they didn't want to come forward on their own, particularly when they were in the beginnings of their careers, but they had some problems with him too. No beginner wants a reputation for being difficult, its a career killer. The man involved sued her for defamation, but that suit was dismissed. She didn't have him arrested for rape either, you can't get a trial if there are no charges. This was a civil lawsuit and she didn't want to be bound to work with him.

I agree with you, a fair trial should be given. It does seem suspicious that she would suddenly reopen an alleged 10 year old wound the second things go south for her. Some celebrities get money hungry or desperate for attention, and that opens the door for deception or manipulation. I think people are siding with her because its politically correct to. But everyone's innocent until proven guilty, and we all should keep that in mind, even with celebrities.
