I'm currently going through a lot of mental disorders including OCD. There's simple ways to not "get rid of" but slow down the obsessive thinking.

    You could try:

    - listening to music

    - think at least 3 positive thoughts a day to strengthen that positive side (or I like to call "voice") in your mind

    - do an activity you enjoy to take your mind away from the negative thought

    - talk to someone about it (no matter how embarrassing or "weird" the thought/thinking is)

    - try and find a route point/trigger for your negative thoughts or obsessive thinking

    I hope this helps you.
