I had the hard drive replaced, the Tech. said I only need a user password, and an administrator password was not necessary Is this right?

    That is your option to set up admin password to login just a user password is need it so the tech is right

    If no one else uses your computer you don't need any password to boot it up and get on it. I have never put passwords on mine when I am the only one that has access to them. I did when I was at work.
