My new LED turn signals won't "blink", they just dim?
I have a 9th gen civic SI and I replaced my turn signal bulb yesterday with LED ones. I noticed the back side is perfectly fine, but the front side doesn't really blink when I apply my turn signals. When my headlights are on, those amber lights turn on, and are in the "dimmed" mode, but when I flip on my turn signals, it will indicate by becoming slightly brighter, and then return to the dimmed state. I want the bulbs to turn ON OFF ON OFF ON OFF ON OFF when I use my turn signals, instead of DIM BRIGHT DIM BRIGHT DIM BRIGHT because the difference between bright and dim is barely noticable. Are those LEDs just bad?

I'm responding partially because I'd like to see an answer myself.
I've got a 2004 Hyundai Accent, and a 1980's full size GM truck. Even with an electronic flasher, and properly working lights in all other positions, LED's just don't work properly. In my case, they blink, but when they blink they shut completely off, instead of the bright/dim bright/dim as they should (in my case).
Knowing that the LED's work properly off of the car (connected to direct 12V) it indicates the wiring of the vehicle is incompatible with the LED's. It's not a resistor thing since they work fine off the vehicle, it has something to do with the wiring of the turn signals.
