Is it worth buying LG G4 ?
It is for my mother. She has been using Sony Xperia Z1, but the device heats up a lot. She doesn't want a Samsung S6, Note 4, iPhone 6/6 Plus. So in this case, is it worth buying an LG G4?
Are there any other devices I can buy instead of these mobiles?

The only decent flagship phones out there right now are the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 plus, LG G4, Galaxy S6 and the Note 4. Personally, I think the G4 is the only smartphone that even competes with the iPhone 6 models as of right now.

LG G4 is a very good device and I think she'll love it. Also, she might be bored with Android so you can give her something really beautiful and smooth performing like Blackberry Passport and she can try something new. LG G4 will probably be my next phone. It's a excellent overall phone and it has a removable battery/external storage.
My second option would be the galaxy s6
