Should Serena Williams be disfellowedshipped as a Jehovah's Witness?

Would any other Jehovah's Witness woman be disfellowedshipped if she followed Serena's example?

    Serena Williams Jehovah Witness

Once again a show of ignorance about Bible principles. While Serena at times may not behave ideally I am pretty sure every person alive can say that about themselves too. I know I can. I get very disappointed in myself sometimes for my behavior.

However, she is not committing any sinful acts that would warrant her being disfellowshipped. Her relationship with Jehovah is exactly that, her relationship with Jehovah. That is not for any of us to determine or judge. If anything, I commend her for remaining grounded while being literally the most famous female athlete in the world.

Same can be said for Prince, he is a Jehovah's Witness too. Any former linebacker Jason Worilds who gave up a multi-million dollar contract because he found the truth.

Jehovah does not expect perfection. It would be wise of you not to do the same.

Any Jehovah's Witness who devotes their life to their career (in Serena's case that would be professional tennis) and misses meetings, or fails to take part in "field ministry" or runs around wearing skimpy clothes (essential when you are on number one court at Wimbledon in mid-summer), would be hauled up before a judiciary committee of elders and given a severe talking to.

However, Serena always gives thanks to Jehovah God, whose strength she appropriates, at the end of match television interview, so perhaps the Governing Body consider that to be a fine witness and testimony to Jehovah. Maybe she contributes a load of money to the organization, and let's face it, the organization needs every dollar they can lay their hands on.

Mind you, the newspapers here slated her for foul language and a bad temper. But nobody is perfect.

I wondered the same thing. In the end the religion is full of hypocrites anyway. I am surprised they are even Jehovah Witnesses still. Michael Jackson probably would have still been a JW if he hadn't walked away from the religion to convert to something else.

The same religion sees nothing wrong with the many filed and one lawsuits, exposure of hidden sexual abuse, and the shunning of those who see this religion as a cult among other things.

You mean this Serena Williams? OR the one who celebrates her birthday? How about Catherine Jackson and her huge birthday party? If you have money the Tower cult will look the other way.

Kicked her out of their foul organization for making a living did they?

    Why doesn't that surprise me?

She should have had better sense than to get mixed up with that bunch anyway, she has the coin to get educated.

Why, what did she do? Win a bucketload of grand slams? Is that not allowed by the JWs?

For what reason? For being ultra masculine black woman tennister?
