The first one is better, but it will still be HORRIBLY slow. 1.4 GHz is NOT good, especially nowadays. And 2gb RAM is not very good, considering laptops are selling for 8 and even 16 GB for not a whole lot. Get your self a nice Windows laptop.

i say hp HP Chromebook - 14-x050nr Touch is better than both of them
but HP Chromebook - 14-x010nr is a great Chromebook as well and hp has a great support a great power and a magnificent quality (i recommend 14-x050nr it is a brilliant device)

Both will disappoint you very much. Those processors at 1.4 and 1.1 GHz are terribly slow. Why not just get away from the "chromebook" and get yourself a decent laptop.
