What is better to have, a YouTube channel, or a YouTube personal account? Are there pros and cons to having each?

    Depends on what you want to do with YouTube. No pros & cons as such.

    A channel is where you make or put copyrighted videos on while an account just allows you to comment, make play lists and see adult content

    Your channel is just the publicly visible part of your account. Even if you don't post videos, visitors might still see your public comments, favorites, playlists, and "About me" page.
