Are laughs as valuable, admirable and desirable as western culture makes believe? Should we all laugh as much as we can?

You misrepresent your case and aim to cause an issue with most every answer here.

Laughing is not the same as "laughing at" someone. Get that?

You ask a leading question to bait people into answer so you can basically berate them.

Laughter is good. Laughing at others isn't. Don't laugh yourself to death, but laugh WITH others and feel it lighten your mood. (maybe you need to try that)

When you're done trying to pick a quarrel with everyone, maybe we could exchange happier words and thoughts.

    Moving on now.

The Dalai Lama laughs more than anyone. What possible lunacy makes you think laughter is a western thing?

    Makes believe?

Laughter is a VERY GOOD thing. It's free. Enjoyable. Harms no one or nothing. Improves physical and mental health. Strengthens bonds between humans.

    As much as we can?

Eating health food is a good thing. That doesn't mean we should eat every waking moment, moron.

Laughter; the most powerful prescription for depression and dullness. If you suffer from any of these symptoms, please ask you Doctor if your heart is healthy enough to take "Laughter" TM. If your laughter last for 4 hours or longer; please consult your Physician and/or your Physiologist; because this could lead to dizziness.

Taking too much Laughter can lead to stomach cramps, uncontrollable bowel movements and could lead to Heart attack or Stroke and even lead to death.

if you can't afford "Laughter" TM; then, Obamacare will do you no good either.

Like I just told someone else, when you're dead, you experience your last moment forever without realizing you're stuck in time, so it's best to die happy. if you don't, there's still a chance you'll have a near death experience anyways, which usually almost guarantees a happy afterlife.

Are you going to blame white people for laughter? Is this a form of self-hating political correctness that you are getting into.

  • We should, though Readers Digest has cut its Laughter page down to one page
