I want to do something nice for my mom?
My mom is so sweet and deserves the world.. But of course, we cant afford much. She has never been on any vacations in her life, and it makes her sad. She was raised by her mom after escaping the Vietnam war to come to America. Her life was difficult growing up in a bad area. Shes tried so hard to raise her four kids, and I wish I could repay her somehow.
I'm fifteen, and she married my somewhat wealthy dad.. But they divorced years ago.
Anyways, how can I earn money to do something for her? Please keep in mind that although she is amazing and always loves when I tell her of my appreciation for her, I want to get her something a typical woman would like- jewelry, or something... Thanks so much for the help :))) <3

I get where you're coming from wanting to buy her something to show her how much you appreciate her and everything that she has done for you, but with that being said, gifts are better when they have alot of thought behind them and come from the heart. Maybe you can make her something that's really nice.
Go to a craft store and pick up the supplies to make her a keepsake box or maybe a picture frame. If you make her the keepsake box, write her a note from you or a poem and put it inside. And if you make a picture frame, find a really good picture of you and your mother or take one and put it in the frame.
My mother always loves when her children and grandchildren take the time to make her something rather than buy it. She says it shows how much you care when you spend your time making something for someone else.
I hope this helps.
