Interesting question. It's a little difficult to explain honestly. I remember this started in about 5th grade and happened a lot on the playground for a couple years. After that, it was less common, although it continues in certain groups a lot later, as you have noted.

With my group of friends, it wasn't something we did continually, but it might be something where one guy started it and then everybody is trying to get even for a few hours or a few days. Just kind of a game.

When we were young, I think it was a way of acknowledging our developing manhood, and sort of being 'personal' in a non-personal way - similar to the boy that hits and picks on a girl he likes. It was also a way boys could fight - serious or playfully - without getting in trouble for punching each other, plus it was usually done out of the sight of teachers.

In whatever schools/groups this is done as teens (or kids), I don't think it has anything to do with race. If boys are friends with other races, then they hit them in the balls regardless of what color those balls are. The reason you see white teens on youtube has more to do with the overall balance of race in the United States, and the demographic of those who use youtube.

There is a tendency to believe there is at least a little truth behind all stereotypes. For at least four to five decades, I've heard the myth that black guys have longer penises. I don't know how long it was around before that. It's still something that gets joked around about on tv, movies, and other media.

The truth is that when you look at medical journal sites, there are only tiny differences between races and nationalities. Most of the alleged differences are from unscientific surveys that depend on self-reporting.

However, often perception is stronger than reality, especially when it comes to insecurity. We still want to believe one racial group is naturally better at academics, or leadership, or public speaking, or penis size, or whatever.

Ahh the good old ball tap. I used to get ball tapped all the time as a kid until I would get pissed off about it and resorted to playing face tap with those who ball tapped me lol. From my observation i think its a non-gay way for young men to release anxiety, insecurity, and uncertainty about who was "more man or less man" than them. by this i mean they physically feel the size, shape, and standing of their peers penis through clothing from the ball tap. Notice the ball tap is usually open handed, not close handed. this is too maximize the amount of surface area you can hit to ensure you hit the balls and dick to feel them more than damage them.

I used to think black men were bigger but i realized it wasn't true later on. A lot of the things you are assuming all white men hold as a thought in their heads is actually just pushed onto you by corporate media and hollywood. Its cause u see comedians, movies and other things that play into the stereotypes.

I personally think my genitals are inferior to every man black, white, or tan lol :P But you just gotta move on and live life. If you are a girl who is a cock hunter than it is what it is. Many men would be of no interest to you. And honestly it comes back to what hollywood and the media push on young boys. We see movies like Magic Mike XXL where its quite clear what women who enjoy this movie go to see. And the truth is not many of us men are lucky enough to have a huge one.

In studies white male penis size is less than 1/4 inch smaller on average than the average black male, so there is no jealousy and no reason for it.
