Why is Jesus Christ not obsolete?

If you take every story ABOUT Jesus away - because most of them are about Mithra and Osiris - and you toss the OT, what you have left is the only worldview that has the ability to save the world from the already begun mass extinction of life on earth. No one alive today will survive climate change if we do not take action immediately.

The TEACHINGS of Jesus are testable and they work. Christianity is really Paulism - it is Pharisee Judaism with Mithra renamed Jesus as the messiah that all Christians think was a liar. (If they didn't they would do as he said to do. Today, if you do as Jesus said, you are told you are going to Hell.)

We're still waiting for some of Jesus' prophecy to be fulfilled, because some of it isn't to be fulfilled until the gentiles finish trampling Jerusalem:

"24They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

25“Then there will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and there will be anguish on the earth among nations bewildered by the roaring sea and waves. 26People will faint from fear and expectation of the things that are coming on the world, because the celestial powers will be shaken. 27Then they will see the •Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28But when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your •redemption is near! ”' - Luke 21 (HCSB)
