Ovulation twice in one month? HELP?
Hey me and my partner have been ttc for around 6 months now. Everything has seemed pretty regular with a 28 day exact cycle and ovulation around day 16 and I got all the normal ovulation signs my cervix was very high and very open and then it went away but 6 days prior to my expected period (cycle day 23) I had tonnes of stingy clear discharge ! I'm so confused!!! Please help me.

This happened to me last cycle. I even confirmed it both times by using an ovulation predictor kit and getting positives both times. I asked my on gyn about it and she told me that its so unusual its not considered normal. But that it does and can happen in rare instances.I trying to become pregnant and so for me. She said to count it as a blessing, a second chance that month to conceive which most women in my boat would envy!

It is often caused by an estrogen surge. Some women get this before their periods.
Of course it is not impossible to ovulate twice in one cycle. Unusual, yes. Impossible, no.
