Why is he acting so unusual?
This guy and I are in a relationship for a short time... And he stopped texting nor did he read my texts. I said to him that if he doesn't want to continue, then he should tell me so I can leave him alone. He didn't say anything and I know he saw my messages through Instagram and he liked my latest insta photo... We also were still into each other the last time I checked, which was 2 days ago. Unfortunately this scenario has become all too typical in this day and age. He's decided to break things off, but he's gonna be a wuss about it and just ignore you until you get the hint. Sucks that so many guys (and girls) are doing this, particularly in your case when you opened the door to him telling you. The kindest explanation for this behavior is these people who do this can pretend they're not hurting you since they don't have to see it. And his liking your photo on Instagram is probably a lame attempt to prove to himself that he isn't such a jerk after all, "Look, I didn't completely ignore her, I clicked like on her photo." Then later he can claim he didn't break up with you by just vanishing.

I would say he's unsure and looking at other possibilities but want to keep u on the back burner just incase things don't work out with someone else

Maybe he's having issues with his phone? Try calling him. Or talking face to face to sort things out.
