Running as weight loss?
okay so im not really big but i have stomach fat & side fat & back fat as well . I'm fine with every other part of my body . Anyways I was thinking about waking up and running but I don't want to lose my thighs & my butt . Is running a good way to lose ONLY fat on my torso or does it get rid of everything ?

cardio such as running gets rid of everything. you cant 'tweak' the fat off of certain parts of your body. I like to run a lot and I didn't "lose" my thighs or butt, but rather they got a little more toned. Like another user said, squats also do wonders for your legs and butt.

Running isn't bad for weight loss, it's just that there are more effective strategies. Running, or just doing hard exercises burns minimal calories. The most effective exercises are the ones that speed up your metabolism over time. This is because while you can burn 120 calories(estimate) in an hour of running, you can burn 500 more calories everyday. Your metabolism is the key target for long term weight loss, and it's the way you can keep the pounds off. Try HIIT, or High Intensity Interval training.

As long as you do squats if you don't want to loose your butt in thighs it will be good because yeah running will loose your thigh fat and but fat but just do squats at the gym with weights

well you do lose fat everywhere in your body, if you want to keep your thigh and butt looking the same way, i would recommend doing some squats, running hills is great too (works but, thighs a lot)
