Is it stupid to want to move to mexico?
I just came back to the US after a wonderful vacation in Los Cabos. I've never felt so in place and welcomed in my entire life. Everyone was so nice and attentive and I would love to live there after or during college. I'm half mexican (and don't know the other half of my family) so I have been around the culture a bit, but the true culture was so amazing and I would go back in a heartbeat. Does this dream belong in the dirt?

You really need to think about how you will make a living . You know the maids and staff at the Hotel make 6 or 7 US dollars a Day? CSL has a population of 80000 people and is dependent on Tourism.
That being said Mexico is Not going anywhere so make a living in the US and then move there. You can always retire there. Good Luck

No. But you could be basking in the vacation glow.
There is a BIG difference between being on vacation and living there full time.
If you really want to I suggest going there for afew weeks but NOT staying in a hotel/resort and NOT do touristy stuff. Try to live like a local and see if you can cope.

That depends on where. Anywhere near the border is a bit silly,; there's drugs, gangs, murders, all sorts of bad things.
Further down south might be safer though.
