What gun are you purchasing next?

Update:

For those of us thinking about purchasing another (or our first) firearm, I'm wondering what you're considering. What will you use it for primarily? Where will you buy it?

Smith and Wesson M&P compact, 9mm. That one's for self-defense. No concealed-carry as my workplace doesn't permit it.

Remington 870 express, 12 ga. Bird hunting, duck, pheasant, and quail.

Both will probably be from a local licensed gun store, unless a big box store like Academy or Cabela's has a notably better price.

No idea. It depends on which gun I need next.

We've had an influx of coyotes and wild hogs in the area near my house lately, so I'll probably pick up an AR-15 of some sort, most likely an M&P15 Sport. Then again, I also want to buy my girlfriend a good handgun, so I might do that. Or I might buy a Savage Axis II XP in .223 Remington for hog and coyote. Or who knows...

I'll most likely buy whatever I get from the gun store that's right around the corner from my house. Well, in country terms it's right around the corner. Less than 10 minutes drive. But I might buy whatever I get elsewhere.

My next purchase was going to be a Mossberg 590 shotgun but I'm leaning toward a 460 Rowland conversion for my Springfield XDm 4.5. It will mainly be for the fun of have a semi-auto 13 round pistol with similar performance to a 44 Mag. Other than that maybe next time a relative goes hog hunting I could go along and use it.

Actually I have a WWII era M1 Carbine that when through post-war refurbishment, so it is a mismash of parts and has the crappy pot bellied stock. It's bore is shot, so i was thinking have having it rebarreled and refinished with a new stock. Usage as a fun gun and let my nieces and nephews shoot. Probably have James River Armory do it.

And maybe an Springfield Army XDs Usage for CCW. Probably from Quantico Tactical.

Sometimes I don't know what gun I'm buying next until I see it. That happened a few weeks ago when I came across a nice used S&W Model 66 2-1/2 inch round butt.

I need to pick up a second Wlather PPK/s. The last one I bought tuned into a collectable model and is too valuable for CCW, I need one for CCW.

Probably also the new Walther PPK-22 version but I want to get trigger time on one before buying.

If I dont blow my gun 'allowance' money on those two..... and save us some more, probably be a Kimber 1911 Match pistol. I hate that my kid has a nice Kimber and I dont. That just aint fair, darn it.

well I have already made my purchase. Just waiting on the tax stamp to go through. It's an FN SCAR 16S SBR 10.5" FDE. To go with it I also purchased the Surefire Socom RC suppressor along with some other goodies shown below. As well as the Eotech L3 FDE

A Henry Big Boy in 357mag. Or maybe a Steven 200 in 223 and have it re-chambered to 17 Fireball.

Three have been on my mind lately:

-- Ruger Red Label in 12 gauge for upland birds

-- A lovely Colt SAA in .357 in one of the local shops. It's not cheap, but it is really gorgeous. I've never owned anything like it.

    -- A Ruger SR556 just because.
