Why can't Hillary Clinton just tell the truth about her emails and Benghazi?

Near as I can tell from actual testimony and evidence, she has told the truth. And its supported by eleven investigations and committees run by Republicans and testimony by the Military and the CIA.

Her emails are held by the State Department she gave 55k of them to the department over a year ago, and she's asked for them to not only be released, but made public. There isn't going to be any evidence of illegality there. Nor will their be anything juicy. She's not stupid, even if she did something wrong, she wouldn't put it in an email. Her use of a private server wasn't illegal at the time, and she transmitted no classified materials that were classified at the time. She's told the truth, now what? Now come the stories about how she cleaned up the emails and deleted the ones that made her guilty of something. What they aren't sure of but without them they can make up anything and have it believed because if you hate Hillary, or Democrats in general, you can just ignore facts and lie.

What makes you so sure she hasn't told the truth? Because Republicans said so?

SEVEN Republican investigations have already found nothing illegal about what happened surrounding Benghazi...no cover-up, no conspiracy, nothing illegal or criminal.

But that's not good enough. This "investigation" is nothing more than a witch-hunt to find SOMETHING to use to hang Hillary. Republicans did this before, to Bill, when an investigation about a real estate deal morphed and changed into his sexual activities with a consenting woman who was not his wife.

Republicans already KNOW about Benghazi...so they're just fishing and digging for anything else.

Maybe she is waiting on the GOP to tell the truth about everything they've done leading up to this point. Especially their part in the disaster of Benghazi, The Iraq war the taking of billions of dollars from Iraq, Saddam's wall and the bridgegate in Jersey and also tell us how a dying party was able to defeat the people in 2014. I will answer this last one. Voter intimidation and suppression.

The only way you would ever accept that Hillary was telling the truth would be if she admitted to some crime, whether she really committed the crime or not.

Two separate hearings and $12 million spent found nothing. What do you want to find in the emails?
