Atheists: would you be offended if one of your friends or acquaintances tried to minister to you?

Without getting into a creation debate, what if a Christian friend was seriously concerned about their belief of salvation and your soul? Hopefully to u guys religious ideas are left as just ideas and shouldn't depend on who's promoting them, (that would be bias) but (I don't mean to stereotype) I see a lot of mean atheists out here at yahoo answers. Man, you guys don't hold back with the "ignorant" and "idiotic" accusations to theist questions. Although I do admit some are pretty stupid (and I might get shiit in the comments for any "logical errors" on this one). Would you be as blunt and bold to a friend? Would their position at all, influence consideration? (Honestly) And let me make it clear when I say offended, I mean will you get defensive as soon as the word "God" is brought up, or will you seriously listen? I don't need smartasss comments, cause if I get them I see the answer is "no we won't take anything having to do with God seriously because it's a fairy tale, it's Not observable and I'll jump to analogies having to do with unicorns and the smurfs and relate it to what I think your IQ is" also no focusing on the fact that I cussed, cause I say whatever the s ex I want. It's something I struggle with and just focus on the question. I'm asking a real question and expecting real answers. As you might have concluded, asking for a friend. Also if there's anyone from a religion many consider a cult I would appreciate your feedback.

    ~~~ Such vain ignorant arrogance is like finding that someone is a vegan, and throwing meat all over their salad, because vain YOU imagines it is the thing to do!
    There is no Love in you!
    If there was, it woulf shine so brightly in everything that you say and do that that would be all the ministry you need.
    People will come to you.
    But since your 'beliefs' are vanity', the fruit from your tree stinks from your Pride!
    Only in the sense that speaking of one's religious beliefs here without prompting is considered rude. Religion is a private matter and should be treated as such. I get the feeling that in the States, people wear their religious beliefs on their sleeves, but that is just not done here. If someone is curious about a religious belief, then one will ask, or seek the answers themselves. It is not polite to spontaneously preach without an invitation to do so
    Such an act would display a total lack of respect for me, so yes, that would indeed be very offensive.
    No means no.
    Offended, no. I would politely tell them that I appreciate their concern, but I would appreciate it if they respected my beliefs.
    If they persisted, I would make clear my lack of interest, and perhaps not speak to them for awhile.
    I would probably end up discussing their religion with them. It would become wearying if that's all they want to talk about though
    Had a woman come up to me recently and wanted to know if I had "Jesus in my heart". Told her I had no religious beliefs and my heart is a pump for pumping blood.
