Can you be insured as a second driver on a mechanic insurance?

I'm 49 and only need to be covered for three weeks

    If you are an employee of the mechanic and driving on work business.

    You would need to talk to the mechanic but most traders policies have strict conditions.

    For 3 weeks just rent a car.
