Yes and no.

Yes in the sense that he is a plutocrat who will benefit the rich.

No in the sense that he actually wants to get serious about the border, while Reagan granted amnesty for 3 million illegals.

Yes in the sense that he doesn't think we spend enough on military, and that we need to spend more.

No in the sense that Trump has said the government needs a healthcare system to take care of people who can't afford it.

Yes in the sense that he used to be a Democrat and often praised Democrats.

No. I'm a Conservative/Republican but even I know Trump is just too much of an impulsive time bomb to be entrusted with the authority of the white house.

But here's the real problem: there are NO candidates on either side of the political spectrum that can be trusted.

So what do you do? You're pretty much forced to cast a vote for the person you think is going to rape you the least. What a nation.

Reagan was soft-spoken and a gentleman.

Trump may be of the same party but he is neither of those things.

We will see. Reagan won 49 states. The left through everything they had at him in the debate including the rigged questions and he ended up gaining in the polls. It is possible.

He is nothing like Mr. Reagan nor even close to being the next Mr. Reagan.

I'd rather that you asked if he COULD be, but I know from whence you come. They are alike in that they sense the way that their (very different) kinds of Americans are feeling and act accordingly.
