Why don't Muslims remember the violence that prophet Muhammad taught and practiced..killed 600 Jews, teaches killing of non-Muslims in 9:29?

I've known some Muslims who speak about "pure Islam". These Muslims believe that mainstream Islam has been corrupted by western values. They seek to remove all western influences from Islam. These "pure Islam" Muslims also believe that they need to dominant the world, force all countries to accept Sharia Law, and have all infidels submit to their authority. I believe that ISIS is a good representation of these radical Muslims. These are the Muslims who do remember the violence of the prophet Muhammad, and they seek to do the same.

Why don't Christians remember the Crusades, the Inquisition, and the Salem Witch Trials?

As opposed to Christians who remember the Christian God who ordered the killing of hundreds of thousands, whole cities;

1 Samuel 15 3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ***.

Make ready to slaughter his sons for the guilt of their fathers; Lest they rise and posses the earth, and fill the breadth of the world with tyrants. (Isaiah 14:21)
