Serious question: who is the least objectionable nominee in the opposite party for you?

Liberals choose the least objectionable Republican, and Conservatives choose the least objectionable Democrat. I'm interested in serious, non-trivial answers, please. "None of them" is not useful.

Update:

Thanks for the answers, all. There is no real "best answer", since almost everyone answered seriously and honestly...but I have to award to someone, so it goes to Kevin, who answered first.

I appreciate the real discussion.

Rand Paul, good luck getting an answer out of Republicans, they don't listen to anyone outside of their bubble.

John Kasich. His welfare reform in Ohio worked really well! He is also not a hidebound anti-climate change person and he supports gay marriage. My biggest problem with him is that the was the head of Lehman brothers till right before they went under.
