Why do Conservatives believe in banning drugs?
Are any of you actually foolish enough to think that if drugs are banned the criminals will turn theirs in?
8 AnswersPolitics5 years agoWhy do Conservatives think that all liberals like abortion?
The liberal stance on abortion is not that abortion is a good thing. It's that it's not the governments role to regulate what a woman can do with her body. I constantly see Republicans, especially on this site mischaracterizing this view as somehow being in favor of abortion as a practice. Just because you disagree with someones decisions doesn't mean the government has a role to step in and enforce your point of view.
12 AnswersPolitics5 years agoWho supports gerrymandering?
I'm just honestly curious, does anyone Republican or Democrat (and both parties do it) support this practice of gerrymandering, and if not, why is it allowed to continue?
11 AnswersPolitics6 years agoPolitics: why do you think the only educational demographic that opposes marijuana legalization?
People with a high school diploma or less, according to pew research all other demographics: some college, college grads, and graduate degrees all support legalization.
4 AnswersPolitics6 years agoSports: is the NFL media officially out of relevant things to talk about?
This Greg Hardy "controversy" has to be the dumbest story of the year. They are really grasping at straws with their feigned outrage on this one.
32 AnswersFootball (American)6 years agoPolitics: Has the Republican Congress surpassed all expectations thus far?
I knew they would be a gaggle of ineptitude, but their stupidity and inability to govern has truly gone above and beyond what anyone could have predicted.
16 AnswersPolitics6 years agoPolitics: Conservatives, can you see any irony in this?
Yesterday on his show Glenn Beck talked about a Christian man desperate to save his family from ISIS, but he could not afford to move to a safer country. Glenn Beck continued to say nobody cared about this man and the left were all too willing to let him die.
Why does a story such as this tug at your heart strings when the man believes what you do? And not when thousands of refugees from Syria are trying to do the exact same thing? In a country where we claim to accept religious freedom, shouldn't all these stories matter? Regardless of what religion these people profess to believe?
4 AnswersPolitics6 years agoPolitics: What do Conservatives think about this quote?
Since you're desperately trying to make everywhere in the U.S. a military compound strictly regulated by government soldiers in order to keep you safe?
"Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." -- Benjamin Franklin
12 AnswersPolitics6 years agoPolitics: Is this the Conservative idea of an American hero?
Martin Shkreli recently led his company to acquire a drug most commonly used to treat aids patients who have no other option for their well being. At the time of its purchase the drug cost was roughly $13 per pill which Shkreli's company raised to over $700 per pill. Making absurd amounts of money off the dying and helpless, sounds like a Cons wet dream.

9 AnswersPolitics6 years agoIs this what Republicans love so much about Donald Trump?
His detailed plans and solutions for America?
In a recent town hall Trump was asked:
How will you bring back the American Dream?
Trump responds:
"Look. We can bring the American Dream back. That I will tell you. We're bringing it back, Okay? And I understand what you're saying. And I get that from so many people, "Is the American Dream dead?" They are asking me the question, "Is the American Dream dead?" And the American Dream is in trouble. That I can tell you, Okay? It's in trouble. But we're going to get it back and do some real jobs. How about the man with that beautiful red hat? Stand up! Stand up! What a hat!"

6 AnswersPolitics6 years agoPolitics: Is there anyone Republicans dont want to start war with?
We knew about ground troops against ISIS and a new war with Iran. Now in the debate they are talking about war with Russia and ending relations with China. Is there anyone you Cons don't think need to die?

12 AnswersMental Health6 years agoIf you were Donald Trump?
In this hypothetical we're assuming Trump has won the Republican nomination. What strategy do you take with your VP? Find someone far right so you can go more to the center in the general? Find someone to the center so you can keep doing what you're doing? Double down and find someone far right while not adopting a more centrist tone?
