Is the average American smarter or dumber than the average European? Tell me why you think so.?

    The average American seems very insular. Only 30% of Americans have a passport so they don't get a lot of different perspectives from other nationalities, only perspectives of other nationalities that want to become American.

    It's not a question of intelligence. Just a question of "awareness", I think.

    The majority of humans are basically stupid...and getting stupider by the moment. As technology advances, humans no longer have to figure things out for themselves..."they have an app for that" is a common phrase nowadays.

    In some European countries they are taught more than one language and have a better curriculum than America but it depends on the individual.

    Results matter in that equation. If America can collectively ignore big things that hurt themselves then yeah they lose out to Europeans so far. We lose 8.5 Trillion and it isn't even news.
