New Xbox 360 controller has wobbly joysticks is this common?

I purchased a new xbox 360 controller its a wired one and The joysticks are a little wobbly especially the right one and I'm just wondering if this is normal because I've had this problem before with previous controllers.

    They shouldn't be wobbly. Sounds like a defective controller.

    THis is a problem with cheap controllers from China
