I need a 'best' home remedy for a cough caused by COPD. Nothing ever helps so far?

Give me your best recipe that works,

like 'cinnamon & honey' for instance.

Thanks.

We used to gargle (or drink) equal parts whiskey and honey - it's probably not recommended anymore, though. It was really only a couple tablespoons of each. Not much different than cough syrup, and the BEST thing I've ever tried. It soothed coughs, and sore throats. Vitamin C helps some people, but you have to take about 500 mg every hour, for a day or two. Salt water is the old stand by. Makes you want to vomit, but put several tablespoons of salt in warm water and gargle several times throughout the day. And sleep! As much as possible until your thing tomorrow!
