I want to buy a black slave. Besides Mauritania, in what other countries is this legal?

Mauritania is in Africa and black slavery is very common there.

Iraq and Syria (thanks Obama). But I think that's it. I don't think slavery is common in Mauritania, and I know it isn't legal. Large scale slavery is a tough system to maintain. It requires fugitive slave laws, and it requires armies to put down slave rebellions. It can't survive without government support. And if someone suggests that it is surviving without government support, that only means that person is an idiot who can't tell the difference between a slave and an employee.

20% of the Mauritania population is enslaved. That's what happens when Black people are allowed to govern themselves. Damn shame
