What is your opinion of parents that had kids at a very young age?
I'm in the process of reconnecting with my father after a long absence (long story) and I'm starting to wonder if our age difference being so little for most that it may pose a problem for many. He was extremely young when I was conceived. Though, were it not for an interloping, soon to be ex wife of his we would have held together. It should be noted that we kept in touch mostly through letters years ago before I'd the ability to email (mid 90's) and she intercepted a few of mine and replaced them with ones of hers. Making him think I hated him for his being so young at the time.

His wife was completely out of line, but i'm sure you realize this.
It's not up to me or you to judge others, based on anything they do, including how old they were when they had kids. We are basically sexual beings, sex and reproduction are our main functions on this planet. Simple as that.
I don't see why your father's age poses a problem for anyone! It's no one's business!

I don't look down on teenage parents, if that's what you're asking. I respect all people. I had my first child at 20. But I'd been living independently with my boyfriend for 2 years and was working full time.
