Safe to eat Baby Bottle Pops after Expiration Date?
I just recently bought a bunch of Baby Bottle Pops from my local grocery store. I m a huge fan of this particular candy so I was excited to eat one as soon as I got home. However, when I checked the bottom of the Baby Bottle Pop, the date was stamped 01/30/15. I had just bought them at the very end of August 2015. I can t tell if it s truly expired or if it s just a Best Before Date. The candy looks fine, and there s no mold or odd lumps in the powder and the hard candy looks the same as ever. Is it safe to eat or should I just throw it all away?

Typically, most candy is okay to eat after the expiration date. It's mostly sugar and will not expire for a very long time. More often than not, there is only an expiration date because the company is required to put it there by law.

It is fine....it is not an expiry date, it is a best before date. Really any candy or junk food lasts way beyond this date. There is so much sugar in it that it makes the shelf life super longer.
Candy does not expire so don't worry about it.

they're fine..
i opened up a pack of baseball cards from the 80s recently.
the gum crumbled into tiny little dry pieces of chalk like substance and tasted gross....but candy like that doesn't go bad like chicken or raw vegetables or something actually good for you.
