What makes a person do this?

Sometimes, especially with online things, it's because one of the two people can't get dates and do so online and fall for anything nice that is being said and think they love the other person. Usually the other person is scamming and trying to get money or a way to come to the U.S.

Love is the answer.

It's as easy as that. Read about American expats in my home country, Germany, who married a German woman. They weren't only soldiers; some came as a tourist and chose to stay.

Love is the greatest power on earth, and it can even conquer nations.

why are you so narrow minded if a person only fell in love with people from their own country the populous of the country would end up inbred. Love isn't selective people fall in love with people thats it doesn't make much of a difference if their from another country to them.

I can answer this as I am British and my partner is Hungarian - it is for the same reasons you fall in love with someone who is the same nationality as you. You see something special in that person and you just click. There is nothing wrong with it and for us, we work really well. We are all just humans after all.

Why would it be wrong? Perhaps they were just attracted to each other. I hate to get mushy about it, but love doesn't recognize political borders.

Why is it wrong? Genetic diversity is necessary for the species' survival.

Out-of-country romance should be encouraged, not disdained.

Countries are nothing more than borders we ourselves put up. People are just people, it doesn't matter where they are from. We all feel love.

Why? Countries don't exist.
