When a party repeatedly fails to win national office (not state or local) it doesn't matter who backs them - they're nationally irrelevant.

the Dimocrats seem to be doing quite well, thank you, despite a long history of actions which harmed Black citizens -- who, none the less, vote for them anyway.
examples: Clinton's housing finance reforms caused the housing bubble and subsequent bust -- destroying the home equity of many Blacks who "bought" under the government programs.
example: increasing minimum wage causes job loss to poor people -- disproportionately Black
example: "War on Poverty" destroyed the Black family and [arguably] created two going on three generations of Black men without father's guidance -- and thus without much schooling, few job prospects, and many into prison.
example: supporting union controlled schools prevents Black families from choosing the best school for their kids. Obama killed the Washington DC school choice programs that had helped many families as a favor to the teacher's unions.
