Do people really understand the meaning of FREEDOM?

Freedom means doing whatever you want without consequences. At least that's what most people think. If you have freedom it means you get to do whatever you want and if that includes subjegation and oppression of others then you should have the freedom to do it right? I dont know why we idealize freedom so much in America. Our country is far from free and i dont want to live in a place where people are completely free anyway. Respect and responsibility are much more valuable principles that will always serve to constrain personal freedom. Its a trade i gladly make.

---- No. Most people think freedom means liberty.

Liberty = Not being bound by the rules of any community.

Freedom = Being judged by a community to be a full member with rights. (From Freoh = free, and Dom = judgment)

Freedom is always INSIDE the laws, not outside--that is chaos. All rights come from God, the Creator and He condemned homosexuality as an abomination in His sight for those He made in His image to do His will.

God gave His creation the freedom to choose my friend. He also gave us a set of rules to live by for our own good by the way. There are consequences to the wrong choices of course.

Yes. There are different type, kind, variety and category of people. People around me here are unique, special or typical in their behavior. They remember it in the morning and they forget it in the evening. Next day morning they will now try to memorize it.

It's really simple. Hindus are allowed to not eat beef just as their religion tells them not to.

Hindus are not allowed to force other people not to eat beef just because their religion tells them not to.

The same goes for any other religion and religious restriction.

Maybe not I believe freedom is not being able to die.

God meant freedom to do what is right, not pork other guys in the butt.
