Does anybody actually take Anonymous avatars seriously?

Sure, there are situations where an Anonymous avatar is justified, but when I see one in R&S I automatically think troll (and, judging by the “questions”, not without justification). What’s your take on the Anonymous Infestation?

    I don't like the feature.

Although we are all technically anonymous here - whether we click on the 'anon' feature or not - you get to recognise many people over time and it's easier to separate the wheat from the chaff before you go wasting your time answering.

I try not to respond to anyone posting anonymously.

Rarely, there seem to have been a couple of sincere questions asked by anonymous users and the reason for the anominity was clear in the question.

But in this section it's mostly just another tool for trolls to use.

The primary purpose for using the Anonymous avatar seems to be to avoid other members blocking trolls.

I try my best not to answer any question posted under the avatar of shame (although occasionally I can't resist, or I answer a question and the asker subsequently becomes anonymous...)

If you haven't the courage to put your name next to your words, you should ask yourself if those words deserve to be posted.

I admit of having little to no respect towards anonymous questions and answers.

    Hmm, am I anonophobic?

Everyone is anonymous here--whether they choose the Anon face is a different story--since no one actually goes by their real names--huh

    Nope.

The one's in this section are the worst, especially the believers.

They defend God and talk about how much they love Him but don't want the heathen to see it is them. It's worse than the heathen who gives his honest opinion.

it is a bind as we say but it is again up to Yahoo to decide the validation if any of these avatars as you call them. judging by the questions it is not in this case of blue circle man real in any way, far too diverse for one human so take it from there.

Usually you can see the intent of the anonymous poster.
