Is Facebooks security settings still the same?
Hey guys I m really wanting and needing to reconnect with some old friends I knew about a year ago and tried other means (not facebook) to reconnect and was not able to so I m afraid I have no choice but to create a Facebook account. Here s the thing, I had a facebook a while back and didn t like it that other people s posts on THEIR pages would automatically end up on yours. Is this still the case cause I just don t wanna impulsively make a facebook page and end up regretting it. If anyone could help me I d greatly appreciate it!, Thanks

well..
if u mean the news feed, u get what ppl post in the news feed page, but they r not actually on your wall. the news feed you see is shown only to you, other users see different news feed according to their friends and the pages they liked.
if u mean tags and mentions, you can secure your profile\wall by going to the activity log and do something to the settings there, it would prevent any post to appear on ur wall unless u give it permission. this is what i do since an annoying friend started this Tagging issue -_-
